How to enroll in 4 simple steps
Enrolling takes less than two minutes. Here's exactly what happens, from picking your date to joining your first class.
1. Pick your class start date
Choose from the 2026 monthly intakes in the enrolment card. Classes start the first weekday of each month and run for four weeks.
2. Enter your details
Give us your full name, email and WhatsApp number. We use your email for the PayFast receipt and WhatsApp for everything class-related — your welcome message, group invite and Teams link.
3. Pay online or by EFT
Pay R1,000 securely with PayFast (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or SnapScan) or request our banking details on WhatsApp. Your full RE5 study material pack downloads immediately after online payment — no waiting.
4. Download your study material
Right after payment you get secure download links (active for one hour) to the complete RE5 pack: study guide, 3 mock exams with answers, summary, FAIS Act and Code of Conduct.
5. Join your class WhatsApp group
We add you to that month's class WhatsApp group and send a welcome message with your class dates and the Teams meeting rules — all on WhatsApp.
6. Get your Teams invite
The day before your class begins, we send your Microsoft Teams invite on WhatsApp. Join 5 minutes early on day one and you're in.
Prefer to pay by EFT?
Click "Reserve by EFT via WhatsApp" in the enrolment card. We send you our banking details, confirm your seat once payment reflects, and then send your material and class details on WhatsApp.
Course outline
We cover 2 modules (tasks) a week, so by week 4 all 8 modules have been covered in detail — and all study material is included.
Week 1
Modules 1 & 2 — FAIS Act foundations, the regulatory landscape and key definitions.
Week 2
Modules 3 & 4 — Fit and proper requirements, representatives and the FSCA.
Week 3
Modules 5 & 6 — General Code of Conduct, disclosures and record keeping.
Week 4
Modules 7 & 8 — Final modules, full mock exam, exam technique and revision.

Microsoft Teams meeting rules
We send your Teams invite on WhatsApp the day before your class begins. To keep every session running smoothly:
- Join 5 minutes early using the Teams link we send you on WhatsApp — the same link works for every session.
- Keep your microphone muted unless you're asking a question, and use the chat for quick questions.
- Use your full name as your Teams display name so we can mark attendance.
- Cameras are optional but encouraged, and sessions are for enrolled students only — please don't share the link.
- Sessions start on time and recordings are not always available, so attend live where possible.
RE5 online class questions, answered
How much do the RE5 online classes cost?
R1,000 for the full four-week course. That includes every live session on Microsoft Teams, the complete RE5 study material pack, 3 mock exams with answer keys and WhatsApp support until you write.
When do the classes run?
Monday to Friday from 18:30 to 20:00 South African time, for four weeks. We cover 2 modules (tasks) each week, so all 8 RE5 modules are covered in detail by week 4. New intakes start every month.
Do I need to be in a specific city?
No. Classes are fully online on Microsoft Teams, so you can join from anywhere in South Africa with a phone or laptop and data. You only travel for the exam itself at a Moonstone venue.
What if I miss a session or I'm not ready to write?
Message us on WhatsApp and we'll help you catch up with the material and summaries. If you're not ready to write, you can join the next month's class again free of charge.
Do I get the study material as well?
Yes. Your full RE5 study material downloads immediately after online payment — 2026 study guide, 3 mock exams and memos, summary document, FAIS Act, General Code of Conduct, GCOC section reference guide, FSP licence categories guide and the FIC Act.
How do I pay?
Choose your class start date, then pay by card or instant EFT through PayFast. If you prefer a manual EFT, request banking details on WhatsApp and we'll enrol you as soon as proof of payment comes through.
